Trick or Treat?!

Last night we took the kids out trick or treating...for the first time. I'm not really big into halloween-so in previous years we just did something special. Plus I figured the kids were young enough that they wouldn't remember not trick or treating. But Emma was determined to dress up like a princess. So it was Logans costume I had some trouble coming up with. Until we went to Nana & Papa's house and picked up some of Papa's football equipment. A couple of helmets and some shoulder pad that he wore when he was little. The next battle was finding a jersey of some sorts that might fit Logan. Uncle Jake still had his jersey from high school football-so he let Logan borrow it. I have to say, the jersey was longer than Logan was tall, but we made it work. And it made me proud to see my son in a HC jersey!! Someday Logan! Once we battled getting the shoulder pads on-we were good to go. The kids had a blast-and ended up with some good candy.

This was pretty much the extent of Logan's facial expressions for the night. Ticked off. :)

Emma couldn't stand still she was so excited!

Pretty princess :)

Once he figured out he was getting candy-all he wanted to do was eat it.
And his mood lightened up a bit. :)

The only picture I could get of the 2 of them together!

Kooper and Logan are two of a kind. All he wanted to do was eat whatever went into his bucket as well. Great constumes. Sounds like your kiddos had fun. It sure was a perfect night for being outdoors.

What a pretty princess and a grumpy little football player! Looks like Logan is working on his intimidation stare down for the other teams! :)
