and FINALLY!!!

After hearing a solid heart beat today, I can now confirm we are expecting!! I'm 11 weeks along, but look like I'm much farther. I guess that's what happens when its the 3rd time around. :) Emma is super excited about having a baby in our family. She even spilled the beans last week in her dance class. I don't think I've turned red like that in a long time. Logan doesn't really know what to think. I tell him there is a baby in mommy's tummy-and he blows whiffers on my tummy. I'm sure the baby likes that. :) So Baby O'Connor #3 will arrive on or around April 19, 2009!!

PIcture Time

I attempted getting some new pictures of the kids. Attempted being keyword here. We went to the place on 32nd street with all the pretty flowers and landscaping. The kids were more interested in running around than posing for pictures. So here is the one and only picture that turned out. I'll have to try it again before the weather gets colder!

Play time!

Last night, I thought I would make some scotcharoos. I always let the kids help me-they have fun, however it always turns into a huge mess. So when we were done, I took them over to the park to rid them of some energy. :)

Prayers Please!!

Yesterday we found out that our friend Matt, his son Charlie is fighting leukemia. Charlie is 2 years old--so that makes this even tougher. Please pray for 100% complete healing-and for no long term or short term effects. He is in surgery today. If you'd like to read the details, check them out at www.cheersforcharlie.blogspot.com Thanks for the prayers! God is a good God, He is God-and He can heal Charlie! We thank you Lord for the work you are doing!!

Dancing Ballerina's

Last week Emma started ballet class. I have to admit-I had a hard time bringing her last week-I was fighting tears the whole time. I don't even want to think of how I'll be when she starts pre-school next year! But seeing the fun she has is so worth it. She's in a class of about 8 or 9 girls, all 3 and 4 years old. And her friend Isabella is in the class too. I forgot my camera last week-but remembered this week. I signed her up for the 9am class--and am kicking myself for that. I didn't realize how poky she can be in the morning!! Hopefully as she likes dance class more and more, the pokiness won't be such an issue. :) (the pictures are a little blurry b/c parents aren't allowed in the room-so i took pictures through the window us moms huddle around)

Sunday Night Fun

On Sunday night we packed up the kids and their fishing poles and headed to Jason's grandmas house. They have a pond with fish in it-so we thought it'd be a good place to take the kids fishing. There seemed to always be a fish on-which was good-as it helped keep their attention. Logan I would have to say caught the biggest, ugliest fish. He caught a cat fish on his $10 pole. We all thought the pole would break, but it held! The kids had a great time-and it was fun catching up with Grandma & Grandpa Lampen!

18 months and above average

Today I took Logan in for his 18 month check up. Its hard to believe that he is 18 months old already. Time is flying. He's doing really well. He weighed in at 27 pounds and is 33 1/2" tall. That leaves him in the 75% for kids his age. We only had to do 1 shot today-and now we are done until he's 4. He was such a trooper. Of course it was aweful trying to get him to lay still, what 18 month willing lays still anywhere? But it was done and over before we knew it-he had his cry-and then he was done. I didn't take the camera along--but I wanted to put up a picture of my studly little man that was taken recently.

From the day he was born he was a John Deer man!!

End of the Summer Shin-dig

On saturday, my parents through a shin-dig at there house. They did a pig roast and pool party. Boy was it a fun day. The weather was perfect-I think the kids and I were in the pool from 1:30-3:30. A few people played volleyball-not my favorite, so I opted to take the pics. All in all, it was a fun day with great friends/family and great food!

Uncle Tom & Uncle Gary, you look like you're up to no good!! :)

My Helpers

Emma & Logan helped me make some brownies the other day. I don't know if there was more brownie in the pan or on them. :) Either way, we had fun.

Nap Time Slumber Party!!

We were so blessed this summer to have my cousin Elizabeth help out with watching the kids. It worked out so well. When I came home from work one afternoon, I found the kids taking a nap together. They had figured out that our couch is a pull out bed. :) And yes, Emma is sleeping topless!!
