4 weeks

This past Sunday marked 4 weeks for Hayden. Its nuts to think that its been 4 weeks since he was born. Time really just flies!! Anyway, he is doing great. He did his first real smile last week thursday and you can tell his sight is coming in. He is much more alert these days and starting to do better sleeping at night time.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Great!

This past weekend was filled with birthday celebrations!! We started off with Friday night. We went to my aunt & uncles house for a bon-fire to celebrate my grandpas birthday. Logan and Emma were on the move the entire time we were there. I thought that they'd crash on the car ride home-but we pulled in the drive way and the only one sleeping was Hayden.

Last Ballet Class

Last Saturday Emma had her dance recital. It was so cute to see her up on stage and doing the dance that her class had learned. I wondered how she was going to do because when I'd try to get her to practice her dance at home she would have nothing to do with it. But she did great up on stage in front of everyone. Emma, we are so proud of you! Being a busy morning getting ready for the big performance, I forgot my camera so I don't really have any good pictures of her. As after the recital she was a bit crabby. I think it was a little overwhelming for her.



This past Wednesday we finished up ballet class with the last one of the year. Its bittersweet. Emma always enjoyed ballet class, once we got there. Key word being once we got there. It was always and I mean always a struggle getting her there. Here are some pictures of her last class. This one is of Miss Marie, Emma's teacher, and Emma.

Since the weather was so nice on Wednesday, Logan and I snuck out for a few minutes to go see the ducks! Hayden got to stay with Nana this time.

Play Date

Yesterday we had the pleasure to go to the Rotman's house for a play date. The weather was perfect and the kiddos played so well together. They have the perfect set up in their back yard. Fenced in = kids can't escape. :) It was nice to let them run around and not have to chase anyone. Below are a few pics of the afternoon.

2 weeks

My dear sweet Hayden, its been 2 weeks now since you've entered this world. Actually closer to 2 1/2 weeks as I'm a little behind in getting this post up. Time has flown. You are so loved, especially by Emma & Logan. Emma loves helping out with changing your diaper, feeding you and most of all she just loves to hold you. Logan loves you too. He loves kissing you on the cheeks, he loves pointing out your fingers, toes, eyes and monkey nose. I have no clue where he got the idea you have a monkey nose but it is cute that he came up with that! We are having so much fun with you and we give God nothing but Glory & Praise for bringing you into our family!!

Hayden's First Photo Shoot

Just shy of a week after Hayden was born Tracy offered to take some newborn pictures of him. She did a fabulous job. They all turned out so great. Hayden did great too. He slept for about the entire time-until he'd had enough. He thought he needed to tinkle all over Tracy's blankets. However his little tinkle turned into a big sprinkle. Kinder-Parade

Thursday we went to the kinder-parade with Sunmi & my Mom. I didn't know how it'd go with 3 kids and with the weather being kind of rainy in the morning. But it turned out beautiful. The sum came out just as we arrived to the parade and it was nice and warm. The kids also did super great. Logan sat the entire time in his chair, Emma was a bit ansy towards the end & Hayden slept through everything!



Logan hugged Sunmi everytime the bands would come by us. It was too cute not to get a picture!

Life with Hayden

We are adjusting to our new life with Hayden quite well. Emma and Logan have really enjoyed having him here and that is such a blessing for us. They love to help out as much as they can--and as you can see with Logan, Hayden cannot be left unattended!!


Emma attempted her first feeding with Hayden yesterday and it went so well. It was really nice to set them up and then I could be with Logan for a bit.
