Mr & Mrs Ross O'Connor

Last night we had the privilege of attending Ross & Jolie's wedding!! It was a bit chilly & windy--the good news is no one blew away!! Emma was the flower girl-and did a great job. She walked down the sand dune with Teagan-and I have to say that they were really cute together. :)

All the bridesmaids wore the 'bird cages' as well, so Jolie made one for Emma. So cute!!

Emma and her daddy. He was also in the wedding as a groomsman.

Congrats to Ross & Jolie!! Wishing you many years of wedded bliss!!

Backyard Camping

Over the holiday weekend the kids had wanted to sleep in the tent. So since we had some extra time Jason set up the tent and a camping they went!! The neighbor girls were out-and one of them even ended up sleeping in a tent with Emma as they thought it would be so much fun. The boys had there own tent-and the girls had a tent. For the first time-it went pretty well. Thanks to electronics!! Logan watched batman on the computer and Emma and her friend watch a Barbie movie. I think the movies helped calm the kiddies down for bed time. Everyone slept all night long in the tents--and I enjoyed my nice comfy bed!!

Emma seriously packed up her bedroom and was going to put it in the tent. Such a girl!!

Young-5's

This past Tuesday marked Emma's first day of school. She is in the Young-5's class at South Side and loving every minute of it. Her first day we were only there for about 45 minutes (it was more like an orientation day) and she was pretty bummed that we had to leave so soon. She was super excited to see her friend Caden from last year-and I hear he was pretty excited to see Emma too. It's really cute to watch at this age the friendships that are formed. We look forward to whats to come in this school year and see all that she has learned!!

2nd time's a charm??!!

When Emma was 4 months old, we had her ears pierced. As she got a little bit older-she started pulling the earrings out. I would put them back in....and out they'd go. I finally bagged it and figured when she was ready, we'd pierce again. Yesterday she told me she wanted it done-so since I didn't have to work this afternoon I made an appointment. This is the before picture. Emma smiling-but starting to second guess herself in what she got herself into.

The after. Emma smiling...but really wanting to cry.

Maybe this time they'll stay in??!!
