Yesterday we packed up in my dads truck and headed to the Ford Stadium where the Lions play to cheer on Holland Christian, who played Detroit Country Day for the State Championship. The stadium is downtown Detroit, and I have to say that downtown Detroit was really pretty. I've never been there, so I didn't know what to expect. When we arrived to the stadium, Logan got really excited. We was even more excited when we walked in. I think that was one of my favorite parts of the night. He loves sports-so to be able to take him to the game was so much fun. Emma had fun to, Nana taught her to yell! We didn't get back home until 2am...luckily the kids slept on the way home...so they should be good for a few hours!!
And so, Holland Christian Maroons won their first ever Football State Championship. They went the whole season undefeated!

Yea HC! Pretty amazing for a school that just got into the sport not too long ago! :P Looks like you had a great time!
Wow... I am still amazed that HC has a football team. Can we go back and do High School again so we can go to football games?
