What an exciting but busy weekend we had. As the kids get older its fun to teach them about the Easter story. We started friday night by going to church. It wasn't the usual 'Good Friday' service. They had 10 different stations set up and you basically walked through the last week of Jesus' life. When I asked Emma what she like about it, she said she liked smelling the perfume that Mary poured on Jesus feet, having the hand cuffs on that they put on Jesus and being able to nail her name to the cross. On saturday we headed to Grandma Greats house to eat a bunny cake that Emma and Grandma made. Grandma also had hid some eggs for Emma & Logan to find. We had another easter egg hunt at Grandma Czerkies house this afternoon. Emma did pretty well, Logan could have really cared less. He wanted to play ball instead of hunt for eggs. :)
I tried taking some pics of the kids before church...and with not much time its hard to get both of them to smile at the camera at the same time. So I've got Emma smiling pretty and Logan being his goofy self. :)

What a cute cake! I'm sure that they had fun making it! The kids look so cute in their Easter outfits!
I love the new pic of them in their cute Easter outfits. They looked darling this AM. Sounds like a fun filled weekend. I'm glad you attempted the Fri. night service.. we opted for not. Sounds like the kids may have liked it though. We were more worried they'd be a bother to others as they don't still well for long. Maybe next year.
