So this weekend we were suppose to go camping at the holland state park, but due to the 'wonderful' weather, we opted out. Who wants to camp with 2 toddlers when its not only cold, but cold and rainy?? Not I. Since Emma was pretty bummed that we didn't go-as we really didn't due much this summer-we decided to do something special yesterday. We went and picked out some pumpkins and brought them home for some carvings. I probably should have just let the kids paint their pumpkins-and then they could have done that. But I thought they would like the carvings-even though Jason and I had to do that. Logan really didn't care. He played about with toys -- but Emma did want to paint her pumpkin. So we might get a couple of little ones for her to paint. For the most part, the pumpkins look pretty good. Emma's is in shape of Lightening McQueen, and Logan's pumpkin is the Incredibles.

Great job on the carvings. We had good intentions of doing the same last night but never got to it. Hopefully this week. I figure the kids would like digging the junk out and that'd be about it.
